Recruit Briscoe Could Make Decision Soon

Last month, we mentioned high school guard Isaiah Briscoe as a player UConn has been heavily recruiting and one that could make the Huskies' already solid 2015 class among the best in the country.

Briscoe said last week that while he doesn't know when he'll actually make a decision, he suspects "it'll be soon." Briscoe thinks highly of Kevin Ollie and had only good things to say about his visit to Storrs, but the Huskies are expected to face competition from Kentucky for Briscoe's talents.

Meanwhile, UConn is also recruiting 6-10 big man Diamond Stone for the 2015 class, and, according to basketball writer Dick Weiss, Marvin Bagley III, a 6-foot-10 center from Tempe, Arizona, who has yet to play a varsity game but flashed skills at a Team USA minicamp recently, has already received offers from UConn and Arizona.
