Watching the U.S. women's basketball team at the Olympics in London will be sort of like watching a UConn all-star game for Huskies fans.
That's because six of the 12 Olympic team members are former Huskies and the team is led by Hall-of-Fame UConn coach Geno Auriemma. Olympic veterans Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi and Swin Cash are joined by Maya Moore, Asjha Jones and Tina Charles, all playing in their first Olympics.
So, it's no surprise UConn fans want to know where and when they can watch the U.S. women's team during the Olympics.
While some of the games will be shown on the main NBC network, where you can watch other games may depend on your cable or satellite TV provider, as well as the service you have (digital vs. standard). Some games will be shown on the NBC Sports Network, while others will appear on the NBC Olympics Basketball Specialty channel and MSNBC. Find the full Team USA women's basketball schedule below.

Satellite customers have it a bit easier. Dish Network customers can find the NBC Olympics Basketball Specialty channel on channel 147 and the NBC Sports Network on channel 159.

Direct-TV customers can turn to channel 752 for the Basketball Specialty channel and 603 for the NBC Sports Network.

Quarterfinal rounds will be shown on the NBC Sports Network and the Basketball Specialty channel. Semi final games will be played on Aug. 9 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the NBC Sports Network and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on MSNBC.
The gold-medal game will be shown on NBC on Aug. 11 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The bronze-medal game will happen earlier (12 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.) on MSNBC.
It will be up to Auriemma and the team to see if they can make it all the way and repeat as Olympic champions.
