Lil Wayne's Dancers Attack Waitress: Report

The fight was over splitting a check.

Two women accused of assaulting a waitress at P.F. Chang’s over splitting a tab at Westfarms Mall on Sunday night are reportedly backup dancers for hip-hop star Lil Wayne.

Jennifer Slaughter, 24, of North Hollywood, California, Della Hamby, 26, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, and another customer had an argument with the waitress over splitting their check in three on Sunday, according to police, and the waitress said they should have made their request at the beginning of the meal.

However, she did split the bill, the manager said, and the women paid.

But they returned for a cell phone one of them left behind and attacked the waitress, according to reports that the restaurant manager confirmed for NBC Connecticut.

Slaughter and Hamby are dancers for Lil Wayne, according to the Hartford Courant. The hip-hop star is scheduled to perform at the Comcast Theater in Hartford on Wednesday.

The two appear in a behind-the-scenes video on YouTube that the crew on Lil Wayne's tour made.

Both women were charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

The waitress is doing fine, the manager of P.F. Chang’s said on Monday.
