The armed robbery of a Connecticut gas station took an unusual turn early Sunday morning when the robber revealed his weapon – and it turned out to be a fork.
The robbery happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Mobil station at 330 Middle Street in Bristol. An employee told police the robber came in and threatened him with a fork, demanding money.
The suspect, a man, took an unknown amount of money and fled on foot.
He's described as a white male with a scruffy beard. Police said he was wearing a white hat with a green brim, along with a blue jacket, jeans and work boots.
