If you've caught any action from the Connecticut Sun so far this season, you'll notice they've got a new look. The WNBA partnered with Nike for new uniforms across the league and the design, called the “Statement", is actually doing just that: making one.
"Just the whole initiative by the WNBA to make sure that we are taken care of as professionals,” said Sun forward, Chiney Ogwumike of getting personally fitted uniforms. “I'm really excited to be able to showcase that our game is different and we have different needs as women.”
