Makes 3 sandwiches.
- 2 large eggs
- 2 dashes Tabasco or your favorite hot sauce
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 6 slices of country-style white bread
- 6 thin slices turkey breast
- 3 thin sandwich-sized slices Swiss cheese
Preheat the George Forman or tabletop grill.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk the two large eggs with the 2 dashes of Tabasco or your favorite hot sauce.
In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, Dijon mustard and maple syrup then set aside.
Spread a little of the sour cream-mustard on one side of each of the 6 slices of bread. Top 3 of the slices with turkey and Swiss cheese. Place the other slices of bread on top of the ingredients and press down lightly.
Carefully dip the outside of each sandwich in the egg then place on the preheated grill. The medium-sized grill fits two sandwiches at a time. Close the cover and grill for 2-3 minutes. Repeat with remaining sandwich.
Serve with pickle spears and your favorite chips.
