Grilled Chicken Breast with curry and mustard

This recipe will help you kick up your chicken tonight.

  • 2 pounds chicken breast
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Cut chicken breast in half and place in a bowl and set aside. Mix the mustard powder, curry, turmeric, celery salt, brown sugar and chili flakes together.  Add the vinegar and olive oil and mix well. Pour the marinade over the chicken and mix to coat well. Let sit for 15-20 minutes and grill over hot coal for 4-5 minutes each side or until fully cooked. Serve over greens or arugula with favorite vinaigrette.  Makes 4 servings.
