Classic Apple Pie
- 6 cups Apples (Granny Smith or a combination of different apples)
- 1 T Lemon Juice
- 3/4 White Sugar (OR, half Brown Sugar and 1/2 White Sugar)
- 1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground Nutmeg
- 2 T Flour
Mix apple slices with all the other ingredients. Place in Pie Shell and top with either Lattice or Full Crust.
Or the Crumb topping:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 T cold butter
Mix flour and sugar and cut in the butter with a knife until crumbly. Then top onto your apple mixture
Bake uncovered 375 approx 1 hour.
