CT LIVE!: Valentine's Day Cocktails

BLUE ICE VODKA RASPBERRY, LIME, BASIL COCKTAIL (LOW CAL)

  • 1.5 ounces Blue Ice Vodka
  • Tablespoon of fresh raspberry puree
  • 3 Basil leaves
  • Fresh lime juice

Add Blue Ice Vodka and puree to a glass, then add one or two basil leaves. Add ice and then fill the glass with sparkling water or club soda. Add a squeeze of lime and stir until mixed. Garnish with additional limes slices, fresh basil leaves and/or raspberries.

BLUE ICE VODKA CHOCOLATE ESPRESSO MARTINI

  • 1.5 ounces Blue Ice Vodka
  • 1 ounce instant espresso or fresh espresso
  • 1 ounce Kahlua midnight
  • 1.5 ounce Godiva chocolate liqueur

Combine the Blue Ice Vodka, Kahlua and Godiva liqueur in a cocktail shaker with no ice. Add the espresso last and then fill with a cup of ice.

To add the chocolate drizzle to the glass. Place a little chocolate syrup at the top of the glass and let gravity do the rest.

Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and serve straight up in a chilled martini glass.

BLUE ICE VODKA INFUSED CHOCOLATE DIPPED STRAWBERRIES

Poke a few holes into the strawberries with a fork.

Place the strawberries inside the jar.

Pour vodka over the berries until covered.

Refrigerate the jarred fruit for 1 to 24 hours.

Remove strawberries from the jar and pat dry.

Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.

Assemble by dipping berries in chocolate holding onto the stem. Sprinkle with the coating.
