Hanna Mordoh is NBC Connecticut’s morning traffic reporter. You can see her every weekday morning from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Hanna is thrilled to be able to get the latest traffic updates to NBC Connecticut’s viewers as soon as news breaks. Hanna enjoys the fast paced position of being a traffic reporter and tailoring her position to the needs of Connecticut’s citizens to get to their destination on-time and safely.
Besides traffic, Hanna enjoys investigative reporting, as she was a reporter at WLEX18 News Kentucky, an NBC affiliate. Hanna started as a night-side reporter and fill-in anchor in June 2013 and left in June 2016. Prior to that, Hanna was a night-side reporter at KMIZ News in Columbia, Missouri.
One of the stories that resonates with Hanna is one in which she followed fire-fighters as they delivered Christmas gifts to a child who would not have had any other gifts for the holiday. Hanna recalls the boy saying “what a Christmas miracle.”
Hanna has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Criminal Justice from Indiana University and a Business minor from the Kelly School of Business.
When not reporting the news, Hanna resides with her husband, cat Simba and dog Ollie, exploring everything Connecticut has to offer.
