Homemade Pasta “O's”

  • 1 pound ditalini pasta cooked in boiling salted water drained and set aside
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

In a large sauce pan heat the tomato sauce and half and half. Add the tumeric and paprika and wisk to incorporate. Next add the cooked ditalini pasta and mix well. Off the heat mix in the cheese. Season with salt and pepper and serve. Makes 6-8 servings.

To make it a bit more fun add corn, peas, or chopped zucchini.
