- 8 ounces ground beef
- ½ cup small diced onion
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 large plum tomato chopped small
- 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
Heat a small pot over medium heat then add the ground beef and onion. Cook while stirring to break up the meat for about 2 minutes. Incorporate the garlic and kosher salt then cook for 45 seconds. Stir in the chili powder and ground cumin. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 additional minutes. Mix in the ketchup then remove from the heat. Top any available hot dog.
