Join NBC Connecticut for the 40th annual Sailfest in New London from July 7-9.
Sailfest is Southeastern Connecticut’s premier summertime event, attracting over 300,000 people across the three-day event. There is plenty of free fun for the entire family, including tall ships, over 200 vendors, dozens of food options, amusement rides, free entertainment.
On Saturday, stay for the spectacular fireworks display.
Sailfest came in first place in The Day 2016 readers’ choice for best Festival/Fair. There will be plenty for every one of all ages and all throughout the state to come see, buy and eat all throughout New London’s waterfront park and nearby streets.
On Saturday, you can come down and meet members of the NBC CT on-air team! Visit us in Parade Plaza! Morning anchor Ted Koppy will be there from 1 to 3 p.m. Meet Meteorologist Josh Cingranelli from 2 to 4 p.m. and come say hello to shoreline reporter Heather Burian from 3 to 5 p.m.
