Ingredients:
- 6 bratwurst
- 1 2-pound bag of sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup small diced onion
- 1 12-ounce beer
- 1/2 Tsp. kosher salt
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 Tsp. sugar
- 1 Tsp. dried thyme
- ¼ cup white vinegar
Instructions:
- Place the sausage links on the bottom of a slow cooker. Top with the diced onions and the rinsed sauerkraut, then pour in the beer and add the salt, pepper, sugar, thyme and vinegar.
- Cover with the top and set on high for three hours or low for six hours.
