Sweet Cream Ice Cream


  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup non-fat dry milk powder
  • Pinch of fine sea salt


  • Combine the milk and heavy cream and heat just until slightly warm.
  • Add the remaining ingredients, whisk to dissolve and bring up to a gentle boil. Cool this mixture overnight.
  • Churn in an ice cream machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Serve with fresh fruit of the season and enjoy!
