24 teams compete in high school football semifinals
It was Semifinal Sunday on the high school gridiron. Twenty-four teams competed to keep their championship hopes alive. Defending Class MM champs North Haven battled Windsor. Barlow tried to defend its Class SS title, taking on Sheehan for a spot in the final. In Class S, Cromwell took on Ansonia and Bloomfield matched up with Notre Dame-Fairfield.
