Rocky Neck State Park

A man was found dead at Rocky Neck State Park on Thursday morning. Officials from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protectio said Environmental Conservation Police, State Police and East Lyme Police responded and the park was closed as they investigated. Officials said there is no threat to the public and the park has reopened.

A man who was found unresponsive in the water at Rocky Neck State Park over the weekend has died. Emergency crews were called to the park in East Lyme on Sunday around 1 p.m. after getting a report of an unresponsive 78-year-old man in the water. He was later identified as Le Minh, of Hartford.
