A former top enforcer for Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel who spent time in a U.S. prison has been identified as one of three people found murdered in Sinaloa state over the weekend.
A high-level financial operator for the Sinaloa Cartel and two other prisoners facing extradition to the United States escaped from a Mexico City jail Wednesday with the help of guards, authorities said.
