Connecticut state police are responding to the Woodstock Fair after receiving reports of a stabbing. Officials said Troop D responded to 281 Route 169 at approximately 9:50 p.m. Authorities said the investigation is in its initial stages and no additional information was immediately available. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.

The Woodstock Fair is back after it was canceled last year because of the pandemic.

After a year off due to COVID-19, the Woodstock Fair opened Friday, though a bit delayed thanks to Ida’s heavy rains.

The Woodstock Fair runs September 3 – 6, 2021.
