A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that took the life of a youth football coach during a game on Saturday night has surrendered to police.

The state Legislature announced they would hold off on a bill that would require youth hockey players to wear neck guards. The bill was proposed after the tragic death of a 16-year-old hockey player from New Canaan.
