Boss Brings ‘Glory Days' to Hartford

You saw him Sunday during the Super Bowl halftime show and you might be able to see him live.

Fresh off presidential inauguration performances and the Super Bowl, Bruce Springsteen, the 59-year-old superstar. will be bringing his heartland rock to Connecticut. 
 
Springsteen and the E Street Band’s “Working on a Dream world tour is coming to the XL Center on April 24.

This has become almost annual event over the past few years. Springsteen was here in February 2008 and before that,  October 2007.

When Boss and company came to Connecticut in 2007, Gov. M. Jodi proclaimed the day “Bruce Springsteen Day.” It was the first time since 2002 that the band had come to town.

Springsteen’s fan base seems to be as strong as it was when songs like “Born in the U.S.” were on the radio every hour.

Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. Monday.

Springsteen is playing in Pennsylvania in May. Most of the tickets were sold in a matter of hours. By 1:30 p.m., less than 1,000 tickets were available, the Centre Daily Times reported.
