The Arts and Ideas Festival is underway in New Haven, so if you are looking for an idea for something to do Tuesday night, consider learning the “Art of the Cocktail.”
Master mixer John Ginnetti, owner of 116 Crown, will guide you to beverage brilliance as Bonnie Tandy Leblang, of Bite of the Best, takes you on an insider’s tour of New Haven’s food scene.
Ginnetti was the bartender at Bar and really knows how to mix up libations, which is making 116 Crown one hot place for drinks.
He won over Bite of the Best blogger with the Ginger Caipirovska, made from organic vodka, Stone’s Original Green Ginger Wine, lime and soda -- for $10.
The shindig will be held at 116 Crown Street at $5. Tickets are $20, but check first because foodie tours fill up quickly. You must be 21. Tickets are available online.
