TAG, YOU'RE IT: The NFL season is more than half over, which means time is running out for you to experience every Monday Night Football special event there is in Connecticut. Tonight, try one of the more unusual venues to watch the Philly-Skins game. Seriously, heading right to the bar and watching the game on a big screen TV is so cliche. Tonight, head to Nomads Adventure Quest to put a little excitement into your football evening. Starting at 5 p.m., you can enjoy your normal happy hour favorites (drink specials and the like), but Nomads also features plenty of billiards, indoor sports and even laser tag!
MONDAY METAL: Things will be getting loud in Hartford tonight. Georgia based metalcore band The Chariot is rolling into the Webster. The band has built their following based on their powerful live performances and their abrasive style (which is apparently a good thing in metalcore bands). Tickets for tonight's show are $10. Also playing are With Words, Too Tall Grizzly, With Eyes Like Mine, and Sounds Like Victory. The show starts at 6 p.m.
OLD FLAMES DIE HARD: It's a rare thing to see a stage drama on a Monday night. But that's just what you've got tonight at the Westport Country Playhouse. The bittersweet comedy A Song at Twilight, tells the story of a cosmopolitan author in his declining years. Caught in between his two loves, our hero faces the possibility of being blackmailed by one of them. The show stars Kieran Campion, Kathleen Chalfant, Mia Dillon and Edward Herrmann. Tickets are $15. The performance of the Noel Coward show starts at 7 p.m.
