CARNAGE AND COMEDY:  This one has got an evening of entertainment written all over it.  Head to Theaterworks in Hartford tonight to check out a play that calls itself a "comedy of manners...without the manners."  God of Carnage is the story of a cocktail party attended by sophisticated parents as they discuss their misbehaving kids.  As the conversation progresses, civility goes the way of the dodo, and the evening rapidly degenerates into a hilarious brawl (leaving all adult behavior far behind).  The show has earned rave reviews, even earning a Tony for Best Play during its run on Broadway.  The show runs through Dec. 19.  Tonight's performance is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40-$50.

BON APETITO:  For the past year, people have been been very glad for an Angry restaurant.  The Angry Olive in Rocky Hill is celebrating it's first anniversary, and you're invited.  The restaurant tries to put a focus on farm-fresh, local foods.  And that's true for their Anniversary fixed-price menu.  For $24, you can get a salad, entree, dessert, wine and coffee.  Entrees include Osso Bucco, Veal Francese and Pappardelle Amatriciana as well as a number of pizza options.  The special menu is available through Thursday.

HUSKY HOMECOMING:  Fresh off getting leid in Maui over the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Uconn Men are heading home with a lot more national attention than when they left.  Tonight, you can see the Huskies take on the Wildcats of New Hampshire at Gampel Pavilion.  Kemba Walker and crew tip off at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $34.50.
