12/28: Dinosaurs, Dancing & Dragons

DINOSAURS: You can continue celebrating the holiday with the kids in Montville.  The Dinosaur Place at Nature's Art is holding its second annual "Twelve Dinosaurs of Christmas" fundraising event.  You can walk through the scenes of "The 12 Days of Christmas," take fun family photos and visit with Santa.  The event runs today through January 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  A donation of $4 benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Connecticut.

DANCING: If you have the week off, use it to spruce up your dance skills.  Take a class in Argentine tango at the West Hartford Covenant Congregational Church.  The classes are on Mondays at 7 p.m. There is instruction available for all skill levels.  Call (860) 888-2118 for more information.

DRAGONS: Take your kids to see "The Reluctant Dragon," a Children's puppet show performed by the Lionheart Puppet Company.  When Harold discovers a dragon, he has a hard time convincing the villagers that it just wants to be friends.  The show is today at 2 p.m. at the Ferguson Library in Stamford.  Call (203) 964-1000 for more information.
