    BEST SHOW EVER: He made us laugh on VH1's hit series 'Best Week Ever', Now Christian Finnegan is hosting his own show with special guest Shane Mauss. Come out for a great night of comedy tonight at John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts in New Haven. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.

    FILL UP ON FOOD ANDART: Feed your stomach and soul with a trip to the New Britain Museum of American Art. After browsing the exhibits, enjoy a light lunch or snack overlooking Walnut Hill Park. Prepared by award-winning Jordan Caterers, the spring menu is inspired by members of The Eight, part of the special exhibition now on view The Eight and American Modernisms.

     POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING: Looking for something the kids can enjoy? Head to the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford for Watty Piper's The Little Engine That Could. Through songs, dance, dazzling costumes and powered by its well-known refrain "I think I can, I think I can," this show is sure to teach your kids about the power of positive thinking. The show is for Pre-K through Grade 2. Tickets are $10.
