    The tumbling continues this weekend in downtown Hartford as the country's best gymnasts compete at the 2010 Visa Championships. The event kicked off at the the XL Center on Tuesday and runs through Saturday. Men and women at both the junior and senior elite levels will compete in rhythmic, acrobatic, trampoline and tumbling events. They're all vying for national titles and spots on the U.S. national and world teams. The competition is also a stepping stone to the 2012 Olympics in London.

    Hartford Whalers fans join legends Kevin Dineen and Ron Francis at Rentschler Field in East Hartford Saturday for the first-ever Whalers Reunion and Fan Fest. The day is dedicated to celebrating the history of the team, who's true spirit has never really left. It's also your chance to get autographs from favorite Whalers, purchase merchandise and memorabilia and participate in interactive hockey games. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the event runs until 6 p.m.

    Teen singing sensation the Jonas Brothers take over the Comcast Theatre in Hartford Friday night. They'll perform along with fellow Disney star Demi Lovato. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Lawn seats are $37.


    If you're looking for a little taste of the Caribbean, check out the Greater Hartford West Indian Parade Saturday. The parade goes up Main Street at 11:30, and the party continues in front of the West Indian Club at 3340 Main Street. A warning for those in the area, police are closing down several roads during the celebration. Tower Avenue, Rutland Street, Cambridge Street, Greenwich Street, Melrose Street, Addison Street, Rosemont Street, Ashford Street and St. Monica's Avenue will all be affected.


    Elvis' biggest hits fill the Mystic Aquarium as Soundmusic returns to southeastern Connecticut for another series of summer concerts. "Ecstasy, Elegance, Elegy, Elvis" is a classical symphonic program, which features a variety of pieces including a suite of Presley hits called "Elvis Lives." Performances are Friday and Saturday starting at 8 p.m.

    Thousands of peaches and peach treats will be on hand at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield for the 9th Annual Peach Fest. In addition to the mouth-watering treats, you can also enjoy breakfast on the deck, pick your own peaches or take part in a peach scavenger hunt or trivia contest.

    Finally, here is something a little different. New London's Spirit Gallery presents "Creatures," an exhibition of movie sculptures and artwork by Jordu Schell. You may recognize some of his creations from last year's blockbuster "Avatar." Schell was also the conceptual creature designer for "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," "300" and "Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem." The collection will be on display until September 7.
