Tonight's the Night! A Naughty New Year's Guide

The countdown to 2010 has already begun and if you didn't get invited to that really cool party or haven't decided how you'll ring in the New Year check this out.

Mohegan Sun is celebrating with a freeze frame in time!  The Massachusetts-based rockers, J. Geils Band, are performing a special New Year's Eve concert live at the Mohegan Sun Arena.  The group is best known for the 1981 hit "Centerfold."  The show starts at 9 p.m.

If the 80's band isn't your gig, you can also check out what's being dubbed as "the hottest New Year's Eve party in the Northeast."  Hip-hop legends Naughty by Nature (with hits like "O.P.P." and "Hip Hop Hooray!") will join World famous DJ Skribble (you might know him from his stint hosting MTV's The Grind, Spring Break or Sisqo's Shakedown) for a special live performance at Ultra 88 Nightclub.  Tickets will set you back $100.00 a piece and you'll want to reserve a seat now.

The Uncasville location is also offering dining specials at the Sunburst Buffet, Todd English's Tuscany & Birches Bar & Grill.

Down the street at the MGM Grand, you can check out New Years with Miss Dakota.  The international burlesque dancer is shaking it at Shrine.  "The art of the tease" show starts at 9 p.m. with a champagne toast at midnight.  Tickets are $50.00 and Center Bar is also hosting a New Year's Eve Party until 3 a.m.  The best part, according to the website, no cover charge for this celebration!

No matter what you pick, have a happy and safe 2010!
