If you're in the mood to eat, this week might be the time to do it.
Connecticut Restaurant Week kicked off on Oct. 10, with more than 90 restaurants offering an appetizer, entrée and desert from a prix fixe menu for the special price of $20.11.
Some of the state’s most popular eateries are participating.
“In today’s difficult economic climate, we want to encourage people to come out and enjoy a wonderful meal at a time when many people are hesitant," Nicole Griffin, executive director of the Connecticut Restaurant Association
, said. "Connecticut restaurants are a major employer in our state and we need to recognize how grateful we are to have such incredible choices right here in our own backyard."
The event runs from Oct. 10 to 16.
Reservations are encouraged.
