Free Friday Flicks Return to New Haven

    The “Men in Black” are back and so is “Back to the Future” for New Haven’s Friday Flicks under the stars.

    Bring a picnic and your blanket or lawn chairs and cozy up with the whole family or that special someone for any or all five free family-friendly Friday Flicks on the New Haven Green.

    This program, “was one of the City’s most favorite family summer events,” said Barbara Lamb, coordinator and the City’s Director of Cultural Affairs, and the city received several requests to bring the program back to the community.

    “Friday Flicks are a great way for the whole family to gather and enjoy the summer,” Mayor John DeStefano said.

    The Friday Flicks program begins on July 15 and runs through Aug. 12.

    All movies begin after sunset, between 8:30 and 9 p.m.

    • Aug. 12: Last Days of the Coliseum
