Halloween Spirit Invades Twain House

Graveyard Shift Tours In Hartford

You'll have to act fast if you want to gear up for the spooky Halloween season at The Mark Twain House & Museum.

The Hartford location is bringing back the graveyard shift ghost tours on Friday and Saturday nights through Oct. 28, where you'll hear tales of Victorian seances and tragedies in the Twain family.

The one-hour tour takes guests through all three floors of the house, plus the servants' wing and the spooky basement.

Reservations are required and, according to the museum, tours sell out well in advance.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for members and $13 for children under 16. The tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10.
