Winter is coming and the temperatures are dropping. That means it’s almost time to lace up your skates and hit the ice at the new rink at MGM Grand at Foxwoods.
This is the first season for the what’s being called a “Grand Rink,” which opens on Thursday.
So, after you drop all your quarters in the slots and the dice aren’t coming up just right at the craps table, can join up to 200 skaters on the ice.
“As North America’s largest resort casino, Foxwoods offers a variety of entertainment and leisure activities year-round, and the holiday season is certainly no exception,” said Robert Victoria, Chief Marketing Officer for Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprises. “We’re constantly striving to provide our guests with the best entertainment experience available anywhere and our skating rink certainly provides a unique way for them to embrace the holiday spirit.”
The rink is open Sunday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturdays from noon to midnight. Adult admission is $10 plus $5 for skate rental. Children skate for $6, plus $2 skate rental.
