Leno Bringing Late Night Fun to Foxwoods

"Tonight Show" host announces show in Connecticut.

"Tonight Show" host Jay Leno will get back to his roots and bring his stand-up routine to Foxwoods.

Leno started his career as a comedian, touring clubs and making audiences laugh across the country. He took over The Tonight Show" from his idol, Johnny Carson, in 1992, and has hosted it all but one year, when he briefly moved to a 10 p.m. slot on NBC.

Leno's August 27 show at MGM Grand at Foxwoods will be a sort of a homecoming for the comedy legend. A New Englander, Jay grew up in nearby Andover, Massachusetts.
