Stamford Downtown Announces Line Up For Summer Concerts

    Two of the summer's concert series, Wednesday Nite Live and Alive@Five, have announced their concert line-ups.

    A YouTube video lists all the performers coming to Stamford this summer.

    The concerts kick off on Wednesday. June 27 and Thursday, June 28 at Columbus Park in Stamford Downtown.

    Wednesday Night Live starts on June 27 with O'Jays performing. Joe Jackson, Dennis DeYoung: The Music of STYX and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue are also in the lineup.

    The five-week long concert series runs Wednesdays, starting June 27 through Aug. 1. Each Wednesday, except the night of July 4, a new performer will be coming to Columbus Park at 6:30 p.m. 

    Wednesday nights aren't the only nights music lovers can come together and enjoy a summer concert. The Alive@Five concerts begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday nights starting June 28 and go through Aug. 2.

    Alive@Five starts their concert series with Gavin DeGraw. Other stars include Sean Kingston, Sammy Adams and Lifehouse. Neon Trees will also be performing on Aug. 2 to close the summer series. You must be over 21 to attend these shows.
