    Belly Laugh: Head over to The Russell in Hartford for a good laugh.  It's open mic night, with the state's comedian hopefuls bringing their best to the stage. There's no cover to get in. There are lots of prizes, drink specials and a DJ until 12:30 a.m.

    Free Screening: Head over to Bean & Leaf in New London for the free screening of a cool independent flick. "The White Balloon" was described in 1995 as the most popular non-American movie at the Cannes film fest. It received the Camera d'Or Award. Made by an Iranian director, it's a fascinating international film you'll want to check out.  Oh yeah, and try the coffee.

    Italian Celebration:Cavey's Restaurant in Manchester has a cool Italian celebration tonight. It's called Misty Mountains of Northern Italy. For $25, you'll get to taste five wines paired with five different plates. Enjoy tonight. Thank us tomorrow.
