Yale Makes Dubious Top Ten List

Yalies are probably not happy about their position in this Top Ten.

In true Yale fashion, the university has once again placed on another Top 10 Colleges list, but this time, the ranking will not be boosting any application numbers.

Yale ranks No. 3 on GQ’s recently updated list of the 10 douchiest colleges in America, placing behind Penn State and Cornell University.

Instead of The Princeton Review, the ranking comes from The Rogers & Littleton Guide to America’s Douchiest Colleges, newly released this month.

Along with the university’s mysterious secret societies, the entry mocks Yalies for their presidential aspirations and their self-belief that “despite overwhelming odds, [they] are truly, truly special.” Special may not be the most enviable trait for this Top 10 list, but Yale can at least find pride in pulling ahead of Brown University, which took the top spot in 2009.
