At this point it's no secret that the craft beer scene has exploded in the last few years. There are hundreds of craft breweries in New England alone. And that only scratches the surface of the beer industry in the U.S. and abroad.
Over the weekend. more than 8,000 people attended the Mohegan Sun's first Brewfest.
More than 150 beers were featured, including craft and microbrews, imports, domestics and much more.
Among the breweries who headed to Mohegan were Connecticut's Hooker Brewing, Long Island's Blue Point Brewing, Boston's Harpoon Brewery, Vermont's Otter Creek and Hawaii's Kona Brewing Company.
For some international flair, you could sample everything from Dos Equis, Newcastle and Guinness.
But it's was not just the drinking. You could also pick the brains of some of the best brew-masters to find out all the inside scoop on the beer-making process. There were also live demonstrations and seminars to help you get your home-brewing off the ground.
