Tired of cooking or looking for another excuse to go out for dinner? The city of New Haven has one. Restaurant Week returns on Nov. 6.
Thirty-five different restaurants will offer deals.
You’ll find prix fixe menus at lunch for $16.38 a person. That represents the year the city of New Haven was founded.
At dinner time, the restaurants will have special menus offering an appetizer, entrée and dessert for $29.
Your meal out will also be helping those less fortunate. For the first time, New Haven’s Restaurant Week is teaming up with Citizens Bank to raise money for the Connecticut Food Bank.
You’ll be asked if you want to donate $1 to the Connecticut Food Bank. That dollar is enough to feed one person for an entire day.
The restaurant week deals run through Nov. 11.
