Serafino’s Restaurant will host a Spaghetti Eating Contest on Saturday.
The contest will see how fast you can eat a plate of spaghetti. The only catch is that contestants won’t be able to use their hands while eating.
The restaurant, located in Wallingford, is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The event will start at noon on Saturday, with the spaghetti contest getting underway at 1 p.m. A live band and booths for pizza and soda will be there. The entry fee is $5, and the winner will receive a $1000 grand prize.
All proceeds will go to the Leukemia Foundation, in memory of the owner’s mother-in-law who passed away recently.
