Frank Pepe’s Pizza, which has been famous in New Haven since 1925, plans to open a location in the Elmwood section of West Hartford.
On the agenda for the Nov. 27 West Hartford Town Council meeting is an application for Pepe’s Pizza to open in Elmwood Plaza 1126-1148 New Britain Ave. and use 3,200 square feet of the existing Puppy Center.
West Hartford Director of Community Development Rob Rowlson told the West Hartford Patch that Puppy Center will still use part of its current location.
The West Hartford Pepe’s location would have 72 seats and require 24 parking spaces, according to the letter the applicant’s attorney sent to members of the council on Nov. 19.
Pepe’s currently has two locations in New Haven and one each in Fairfield, Manchester, Mohegan Sun, Danbury and Yonkers, New York.
