Royal Wedding Party in Old Greenwich

Dine like a royal, or at least a Brit.

Millions of viewers around the world will have their hankies out for the royal wedding next Friday, but in Old Greenwich you might also need a fork and napkin.

Mackenzies Grill Room on 148 Sound Beach Avenue is celebrating the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton by running a “Best of British Street Party Menu.”

Dig into Prince Harry's Favorite steak and kidney pie, Big Ben banger and mash, Prince William scotch egg, coronation chicken salad, Windsor Castle roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Then sip some fine British ale or a Lemonade Royal Wedding Cocktail.

See the full menu here.

The specials start on Thursday, April and run through May 1.

On the wedding day, April 29, the party continues.

Mackenzies is also airing the wedding on television all day long. No invitation or fancy dress attire is required. Just come with an empty stomach and a love for all things royal!

Fairfield Public Library is also hosting a celebration from noon to 2 p.m. Tea will be served. Wear gloves and a hat.
