Ready, Set, Shop!? (Again.)

Stores opened early Friday to lure in more shoppers

Let the Post-Christmas sales begin.

Some are dubbing today a second "Black Friday", as stores, desperate to boost sales numbers before the end of the year, are promising deep discounts for their after-Christmas sales like they never have before.

Several retailers, like Sears, Toys R' Us and J.C. Penney are trying to lure shoppers by cutting prices by 70 percent on some items.

J.C. Penney announced for the first time in the chain's history they opened at 5:30 Friday morning and will offer 100 door buster specials.

Experts say with the current state of the economy, most stores are going to unbelievable lengths to draw in customers just hoping to break even.

Post-holiday sales usually account for 10 to 15 percent of seasonal retail sales.
