How much is your Microsoft Xbox 360worth? How about $1,000,000?

To hardcore gamers, their video game console is sacred, maybe even priceless. To one Yale University student, it's apparently worth a million bucks.

Jesse Maiman, 21, of Madeira, Ohio is suing US Airways for the Xbox 360 that he says was taken from his luggage.

Maiman alleges that during a flight from New Haven to Cincinnati, Ohio on Dec. 17, his Xbox with a specialized hard drive and components worth $1,000 disappeared.

Maiman claims he immediately went to a US airways representative to report the theft. And, as he told the Cincinnati Enquirer, what followed was "weeks of an 'unconscionable run-around' that saw him write or speak to five airline employees who gave him what he considered nonresponsive answers."

He's asking for $1,700 for the loss of the gaming system and for "non-economic distress" of at least $25,000, but "in the maximum amount allowable by law or, in the alternative, in the sum of $1,000,000."

A US Airways spokeswoman said the airline was unaware of the suit but noted that the government limits liability for lost luggage to $3,300 per bag.
