A fuel spill is causing backups on Interstate 95 Northbound.

A tractor-trailer crash is slowing the early-morning commute in Stratford on Monday and a crash is slowing the drive in Greenwich.

A truck is leaking fuel on Interstate 95 North in Stratford and two lanes of the highway are closed between exits 30 and 31. There is a backup to exit 28.

A car and tractor-trailer collided between exits 4 and 5 in Greenwich, state police said. The crash caused a fire and fuel spill that has resulted in several lane closures.

The state Department of Transportation said the backup southbound was more than 2 miles long at the start of the Monday morning rush hour.
