    Metro-North train service was stopped in Stamford after a propane leak and evacuations are underway in the area.

    Metropolitan Transportation Authority police requested a hold on the tracks in Stamford because of a propane leak at a building in the 200 block of Greenwich Avenue in Stamford.

    Metro-North sent an alert out at 12:53 p.m. stating that New Haven line service had resumed and delays should be expected.
