Temperatures and humidity will increase in the days ahead according to our NBC Connecticut meteorologists.
Thursday morning will bring a bit of fog but that will quickly give way to bright skies and hot sunshine.
The temperature highs will reach near 90 inland, 80 at the beach.
This same heat-filled trend will continue into Friday.
