First Alert: Heavy Rain Moves Through Connecticut

NBC Connecticut Meteorologists have issued a First Alert ahead of a flash flooding threat this morning and the last of the heavy rain is moving through the state.

A flash flood warning is in effect for Litchfield County.

The rain led to several issues on the road this morning.

Rain will slowly diminish and skies will gradually clear after the lunchtime hour.

The recent heavy rainfall event where many cities and towns picked up over four inches of rain is raising our concern for flash flooding.
