Phew! that was some storm!! (pics) Hi there, I am a mail carrier and today was a different day of delivering. Not something you see everyday. I was headed up Mt. Tobe Rd. in Plymouth and I saw the clouds and wind start forming into a wide cyclone, and the trees in the background were swaying heavily. It was amazing to see, but I got nervous, turned around and went back the other way to calm my nerves. 10 min later and I was back up to Mt. Tobe Rd. and I turned onto Watch Tower Rd. to continue my deliveries and that is where it hit! Not a big tornado, or an actual funnel formed, but a big cyclone of wind. Here are pictures of the damage it caused. I talked to one customer on my route and he said he was also shaking, and said, " I thought my house was going to fall down". The Wheel barrow was in another yard and flew into his yard. Those are pretty heavy to be lifted in the air. Thanks, Shaun from Plymouth, CT.
