Storm Brings Rain, Little Snow

A weekend storm will bring a mix of snow and rain to Connecticut Saturday and into Sunday.

A light mixture of rain, sleet, and snow will continue off and on through the evening. Precipitation will change to mainly rain later this evening across most of the state. Some slick spots are possible on roads in the hill towns northeast and northwest of Hartford.

A second round of rain and snow will develop Sunday morning with small accumulations possible. Total accumulation is expected to be an inch or less across most of the state with 1"-3" in the higher elevations of northeast Connecticut and nothing along the shoreline.

Any rain or snow will end Sunday evening and skies will clear for Monday with temperatures near 40.
