Through sunset, 9 o'clock this evening, we will have about a 30% chance of a passing thundershower. The risk for severe weather will exist, but it will be rather low. The most likely location for an odd thundershower will be in northern Connecticut, closer to the Massachusetts border. Here is one weather model snapshot which we believe depicts the rest of the day fairly well.

The window for additional rain showers and thundershowers will close around 10 p.m. tonight. After 10 o'clock tonight, any (possible) showers should diminish, and we should have a clear rest of the night.

Sunday will start sunny, but quickly give way to increasing clouds through lunchtime and the afternoon. It will turn breezy and cooler, and much drier (humidity-wise).

The upcoming week looks a lot cooler than typical May conditions across Connecticut. Then, a springtime nor'easter will hit us beginning Wednesday and lasting into Thursday. This will bring dismal weather our way, featuring a cold rain.
